Bison Launches Tourist Sky High in a Brutal Yellowstone Rampage [WATCH]
A summer visit to Yellowstone National Park turned chaotic after a bull bison charged at a visitor near Bridge Bay Campground by Fishing Bridge. Witnesses reported the animal hurled the man several feet into the air while horrified campers watched, turning what was expected to be a calm evening into an incident highlighting the risks of approaching wildlife. Photographer Mike MacLeod, from Bozeman, said the bison wandered into the campground appearing agitated and that the incident escalated quickly when it moved toward groups of campers and children taking photos at a distance. He said the victim, who was walking with his grandson and did not provoke the animal, was hooked with the bull’s left horn and tossed into the air before landing on his side. The National Park Service had not released official details or the man’s condition at the time of reporting.
