Brutal': Onlookers amazed as Ken Paxton starts chanting to cover up heckler at rally

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton began chanting “U-S-A” on stage during a Wednesday night rally at White Oak Music Hall in north Houston, in an apparent attempt to drown out a heckler. The questioner confronted him over why he supported an “Epstein-style” sweetheart plea deal for Adam Dean Hoffman, a 49-year-old attorney accused by reporting from The Texas Tribune of repeatedly sexually abusing a boy for years. Hoffman surrendered his law license and, under the deal, was released from jail within days without registering as a sex offender. Before taking the stage, an aide also stepped in as another attendee asked about owning more than 15 houses on a government salary.
