Checkers & Rally's CEO says Americans' demand for fast-food value is 'intensifying'

Checkers & Rally’s CEO Chris Tebben says pressure on household budgets is pushing Americans to look harder for value when eating out. He told FOX Business that demand for affordability has intensified over the past couple of years as higher everyday costs collide with rising restaurant prices. The chain is responding with a $4 Unbeatable Meal Deal, priced at $5 in select markets, and Tebben said the company saw improved transaction trends after launching a $4 version around May 2025. He also noted work to lower core food costs to give the brand more flexibility to invest in value for both the company and its franchisees.
