Chiellini guidance to Leeds 'rock' - could Muharemovic be signing of season?

Leeds’ record signing Tarik Muharemovic is already drawing big-club attention after a fast impact at Elland Road. The 23-year-old left-footed centre-back joined from Sassuolo for £34.1m, replacing Pascal Struijk, who moved to Brighton for £20m. When he was unveiled in July, some supporters questioned the fee for a player with just one season at the top level in Europe. Three months into a five-year contract, Simon Grayson said Muharemovic has a “rock-like” presence and seems to love Leeds, while BBC guests raised the risk he could be seen as a “one-year wonder.” Leeds’ defence is now second-best in the Premier League behind Arsenal, and reported interest includes Barcelona, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan.
