Classic Land Rover once owned by Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz sold at auction

A rare 1959 Land Rover 109 Series II pickup with a Hollywood connection has sold for more than £40,000. The truck, previously owned by actors Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz, fetched $56,000 (£41,200) on the auction site Bring A Trailer. The sale included a handwritten note and a signed portrait from Craig, best known as James Bond and more recently as Benoit Blanc in the Knives Out films. The listing says it is finished in Bronze Green and includes items such as a rope winch, an Exmoor Trim canvas bed cover, a bonnet-mounted spare tire, and 16-inch three-piece steel wheels. Power comes from a 2.25-litre inline-four.
