Defence group Kongsberg aims to triple its revenue by 2029

Kongsberg aims to triple revenue by 2029 and more than quadruple it by 2033, driven by growing European defence investments. The group projects revenue rising from 33 billion Norwegian crowns in 2025 to 100 billion in 2029 and 150 billion in 2033, with an operating margin target above 16%. Order intake and backlog have surged since the Ukraine conflict, supported by demand for missiles, air-defence systems, and other military equipment. The company plans capacity expansion, recruitment, and stronger supply chains, and spun off its maritime business in April. May forecasts point to accelerating 2026 growth as Q1 orders more than doubled.
