Destination unknown - A goalkeeper's 2000-mile van trip to find a new club

Goalkeeper Milo Beimers is living out of a converted van while searching for a new club across Spain and Portugal, after leaving Glentoran in the Irish Premiership following 13 years at the club. The 18-year-old is in Alicante, sheltered from the heat, with trials already scheduled through his agent and a quick flight back to England to train with a London-based side. The trip is expected to cover roughly 2,000 miles, starting with a ferry from Dublin to France, then driving down Spain’s coast and eventually heading inland toward Lisbon and Porto. His final destination remains unknown.
