The Eclipse 505 Shadow is a purpose-built outboard performance express cruiser designed around triple outboard power, paired with a Michael Peters stepped hull and a custom, yacht-style interior. Instead of converting an inboard design for outboards, the 505 Shadow is engineered from the outset for reduced maintenance, shallow draft, and easier service, while carrying a two-stateroom, two-head layout and ample entertaining space. The builder cites a top speed near 50 knots and a cruising range of 35 to 37 knots, with about 260 nautical miles available at that pace. Standard features include a Seakeeper stabilizer, Humphree interceptors, a Northern Lights generator, and ElectroSea systems.
