Ereke Day: IDA commissions Soname-funded Police Area Command complex in Ikenne

The Ikenne Development Association (IDA) has commissioned a new Ikenne Police Area Command complex donated by Adekunle Soname, chairman of Remo Stars Football Club. Handed over to the Nigeria Police Force on Thursday, the project is valued at about N300 million and includes an ultra-modern office block, 10 studio flats for police personnel, and a two-bedroom apartment for the Area Commander, among other facilities. Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Olatunji Rilwan Disu was represented by Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Bode Ojajuni, who said the facilities will be used effectively. CP Ojajuni also linked improved security to preparations for the 2027 general elections.
