Faf du Plessis, Rassie van der Dussen, Mulder headline SA20 season five player auction's shortlist

Faf du Plessis, Rassie van der Dussen and Wiaan Mulder headline the SA20 Season 5 player auction shortlist as franchises prepare for the October 7 auction in Johannesburg. The event will determine 19 remaining squad slots for the milestone fifth season, with 95 South African players and 61 overseas stars going “under the hammer.” A total of 789 players registered, but the list was trimmed to 156, with a smaller auction than last year. Durban’s Super Giants and Paarl Royals have already completed their 19-player squads and won’t participate. Each team can spend up to $2.11 million, with Joburg Super Kings and MI Cape Town needing six slots each.
