Family of missing LUFC fan say there has been some 'exciting possible sightings'
The family of missing Leeds United fan Michael Hewitt says they are now investigating “exciting possible sightings,” as the search continues after he left for the United States to attend an England World Cup match. Hewitt, known to many as “Little Mick,” departed Leeds on June 20, traveling via Barcelona. The family has not heard from him for more than a week, and his brother Gary described the situation as baffling and a “nightmare.” In an update posted on Wednesday, they said Hewitt went offline in the early hours of Sunday, June 21. The family thanked the football community for support and urged anyone who saw or contacted Hewitt since June 21 to contact the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. The report notes there were no confirmed sightings around the match stadium on June 21 and that authorities have been engaged.
