Guardian camera club members capture weather in photo challenge

Members of the Guardian Camera Club have been sharing photographs capturing “weather” as part of a weekly themed challenge. The group invites amateur and professional photographers to submit recent images and take part in regular competitions. The latest gallery includes stormy scenes and rainbows such as Winsford, along with sunny-day views from Vale Royal Locks in Whitegate and Knutsford. Other featured locations include Sandiway, Holmes Chapel and Weaverham, where photographers captured gathering storm clouds and heavy rainfall. The challenge also features winter weather, including a snow-blizzard shot at Marbury Mere. Additional submissions show changing light and sky conditions around areas like Wincham, Antrobus and Great Budworth, plus a sunset at The Ocean Fishing Pool in Winsford. The club says participation is open to others via its Facebook group.
