Haigh Hall to host Northwest Rally Legends this summer

Haigh Hall will host Northwest Rally Legends on Sunday, August 16, bringing a Motor Show plus a Stage Rally Demonstration Run to the venue. The event marks 40 years since the last RAC Rally was held in Wigan and is set to deliver a full day of rally entertainment for fans, families, and the wider community. Organizers say the project is aimed at making motorsport accessible to everyone, inspiring new spectators while honoring the sport’s regional heritage. The program includes classic and modern rally cars, rare competition vehicles, and a stage run where visitors can watch cars in action. Ahead of the event, the team visited local schools and care homes, including Blackrod County Primary School and The Church School on Tuesday, July 21.
