Hanoi to deploy over 45,000 bus trips during National Day holiday

Hanoi Transportation Corporation (Transerco) plans to run nearly 45,800 bus trips during the five-day National Day holiday, from August 29 to September 2, while keeping reserve vehicles ready to respond to passenger surges at bus stations and crowded transit hubs. The schedule calls for up to 9,191 trips each weekday and around 9,033 trips on Sunday, totaling 45,797 rides for the period. To handle spikes, Transerco has instructed affiliated units to prepare additional personnel and capacity, including 22 reserve buses on 15 routes that can add roughly 44 extra trips. The company also ordered increased maintenance, inspections, cleaning and refurbishment, with service quality supervision and station teams on duty.
