KTBS 3 wraps up Celebrating the ArkLaTex stops in Claiborne Parish
KTBS 3 wrapped up its Celebrating the ArkLaTex road trip with stops in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana, highlighting local people and attractions. The segment aired this week in the Homer area and concluded on Thursday, according to KTBS 3. Rick Rowe featured “the great things and great people” of the region as the crew finished another trip. Lunch was served at 11 a.m. at the new Kel’s Cove on Lake Claiborne at 3455 Highway 146 in Homer. The episode also pointed to recent improvement projects at Lake Claiborne State Park for both overnight and day-use visitors. It further noted a partnership between the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and Major League Fishing to place 32 new fish-attracting reef structures in the lake. The weeklong effort was sponsored by the Claiborne Parish Watershed District and the Claiborne Parish Chamber of Commerce.
