KUZMENKO BACK AT PRACTICE AS PENS PREP FOR MONTREAL

Andrei Kuzmenko returned to practice on Thursday as the Pittsburgh Penguins prepared for their home opener against the Montreal Canadiens tonight. The Penguins are coming off a 7-0 shutout victory over the Philadelphia Flyers. Kuzmenko had been away on bereavement leave following the death of his father, who was killed in a bear attack during a fishing trip in Siberia on September 22. When he rejoins the lineup, Kuzmenko will wear number 62 to commemorate his father’s age at the time of his death. Pittsburgh returns to the ice at home as it looks to build on the dominant win.
