Man United issue firm response to Premier League club over Sesko enquiry

Manchester United has rejected Tottenham Hotspur’s inquiry about whether striker Benjamin Sesko could be available this summer. According to TEAMtalk, Spurs reached out to ask if the 23-year-old Slovenian forward might be obtainable, amid speculation that he could become available. United responded immediately that they would not entertain offers, with officials viewing Sesko as a central part of Michael Carrick’s project rather than a player they were willing to sell after only one mixed campaign. Sesko scored seven goals in his final 13 appearances last season. The club is still interested in adding another forward, but the search is meant to complement Sesko and Joshua Zirkzee’s situation remains unresolved.
