The Minnesota Twins are rolling out an official dance team, joining MLB sides like the New York Mets and Milwaukee Brewers. The Rally Dancers—co-led by Casey Rush and Charliz Balicao Heimerman—bring performance know-how from the Vikings, where Rush previously worked as a cheerleader. At Target Field in downtown Minneapolis, the group aims to create a “touch point” so fans feel immersed in the Twins’ culture. Rush describes their style as big, bold movements “with exclamation points.” Dancers Erin Harris and Elise Sande both called the inaugural home crowd experience surreal. The team uses poms, jazz moves, and “hair-ography,” performing near the entrance and on-field before the sixth inning.
