Morphy’s Automobilia, Petroliana & Soda Advertising Auction closed with strong results, totaling more than $1.6 million in gross sales, according to the auction report. Held July 15–16 in Morphy’s flagship Pennsylvania gallery, the live event also offered remote bidding. Among the top lots, a clean circa-1940s Harbor Petroleum Products Co (Los Angeles) porcelain sign with seaplane graphics (39 by 35 inches), graded 9.0 by AGS, sold for $54,120. A 1939 Harley-Davidson EL Knucklehead motorcycle brought $40,590, while a 1930s Ford double-sided porcelain neon sign with bullnose attachments reached $31,200. The sale featured nearly 1,300 lots of motoring-related signage and service station items. Additional notable outcomes included a Richlube Motor Oil porcelain sign realizing $23,370 and a Flying A Gasoline round sign selling for $22,755 after outperforming estimates.
