Most-loved attractions in the world, per Tripadvisor travelers

Tripadvisor’s “Travelers’ Choice Awards” highlights the world’s 20 most-loved attractions, based on feedback collected over a 12-month period. The platform says fewer than 1% of its roughly 8 million listings qualify for the “Best of the Best” tier, which factors in high volumes of exceptional reviews and opinions from users. The article notes Tripadvisor does not disclose how the entries are ordered on the page, and it doesn’t sort them by rating or review count. Each listing includes a bubble rating out of five and the number of reviews. The first entry covered is Royal Yacht Britannia in Leith, Edinburgh, rated 4.7/5 from 25,371 reviews, with tours ranging from royal living spaces to the engine room.
