MSC Cruises reports 'very strong' May and June bookings
MSC Cruises said bookings for May and June are “very strong,” crediting UK travel agents for support and citing promotions and communications aimed at reassuring customers during “uncertain periods.” Antonio Paradiso, MSC Cruises’ international sales vice-president, told a Travel Weekly webcast that the company has filled a “gap” that three sales weeks earlier showed last-minute demand and a lack of bookings for Q3 and Q4 in 2027 and beyond. He pointed to a “huge spike” for winter 2026–27 sailings from Southampton over the past four weeks. The cruise line promoted its “Best Holiday Commitment,” including one free cruise change, a no-fuel-surcharge promise, deposits from £50, and flights from £99. Paradiso also described strong performances in Barbados, Alaska, and Asia/Japan.
