NEAR Price Climbs as Bitwise ETF Gets Green Light: $155 Target Sparks Fresh Rally

NEAR surged to about $5.45—its highest level in roughly a year—after Bitwise’s spot NEAR ETF cleared major NYSE Arca listing steps and the firm released a long-term valuation model. Bitwise said the SEC’s registration statement became effective on September 24 and filed Form 8-A for trading under ticker NRR. The fund is designed to hold NEAR directly and add returns via staking, with a 0.75% sponsor fee. Bitwise’s 39-page report projects a $155 base-case price for 2030, with an extreme bull case of $562 and a $1.63 bear case. The rally came alongside a weekly technical breakout above resistance, putting $6 and then $7–$8 in focus if $5.75 holds.
