Trabahong tamad': Lacson urges NBI not to summon Bato's wife

Sen. Ping Lacson urged the National Bureau of Investigation not to subpoena Nancy Dela Rosa, the wife of fugitive Sen. Ronald 'Bato' Dela Rosa, arguing the move would be unprofessional and harassment. In a May 31 social media post, Lacson called the potential subpoena a 'trabahong-tamad' and suggested it would reveal incompetence in intelligence work, while pledging to push for additional intelligence funding during the 2027 budget amendments. The development followed remarks by NBI Director Melvin Matibag that Nancy Dela Rosa and others who recently contacted the senator could be subpoenaed.
