Ohtani returns to Dodgers' lineup Saturday vs. White Sox

Shohei Ohtani is back in the Dodgers' lineup for Saturday's game against the White Sox after a day off. The 31-year-old was part of the leadoff and designated hitter spots following left knee inflammation that forced him from Thursday's game and led to Friday's absence. Manager Dave Roberts said imaging showed no structural issues; swelling is typical and mobility is good. Ohtani, 31, is batting .305 with 13 homers and 40 RBIs in 67 games, while going 6-2 with a 1.06 ERA in 11 starts this season. He is scheduled to make his next pitching start on Wednesday against the Rays.
