Oregon Fan Loses $100K on Dan Lanning & Co. as Oklahoma State Pulls Week 2 Upset

A bettor in Louisiana reportedly lost $100,000 betting on Oregon in Week 2, after Oklahoma State produced a major upset, 39-31. According to Yahoo Sports CFB insider Ben Fawkes, the wager at Caesars Sports would have paid just $4,000 at the payout level, reflecting Oregon’s reputation after last year’s rout of the Cowboys by more than 60 points. But Oklahoma State stunned the Ducks anyway, snapping a 21-game losing streak against FBS opponents. Quarterback Drew Mestemaker threw for 317 yards and two touchdowns and added 109 rushing yards plus a score. The Cowboys outgained Oregon 554-281, with Dante Moore limited to 191 yards on 14-of-29 passing.
