PayPal left the door open to a potential sale after its quarterly results beat analyst expectations amid reports that Stripe has made an offer. CEO Enrique Lores said on a Tuesday earnings call that the company “doesn’t comment on market speculation,” but added, “We remain open and objective” if any offer could “create superior value” for shareholders.
