PERFETTO, John

John Perfetto's family announced his death after a brief illness, saying he passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026, at the age of 83 with his wife Nancy by his side. He was a devoted husband for 62 years, a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who valued family above all else. He built his life in Whitefish Falls on Lake Huron, enjoyed travel to Italy, China, and France, and spent many winters in Florida, pursuing hobbies such as gardening, winemaking, pasta making, fishing, and boating. He shared a lifetime of travel and cultural experiences with his family and friends.

Perfetto leaves his wife Nancy; his children, Sandra Moskal (Paul), Dean (Cathy), and Jennifer Ling (Michael); and his grandchildren, Haley Moskal (Jaden Nesbitt), Billy Moskal (Hailey McAuley), John Perfetto (Chandra), Sara Perfetto (Oliver Bassel), Jonah Barry, and Macie Ling, along with his first great-grandchild Matthew Perfetto. He is survived by his brother Gerry and his sister Maria Scotti. A service will be held Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Jacksons and Barnard Funeral Home, with viewing from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, and the service to follow in the chapel.
