Philadelphia Clef Club Celebrates 60 Years With Tia Fuller Premiere - MyChesCo

The Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz & Performing Arts is marking its 60th anniversary with a Diamond Anniversary Celebration on Sept. 26, 2026, at its South Broad Street home. The program includes a catered reception at 6 p.m., followed by live music and awards starting at 7:30 p.m. State Sen. Vincent Hughes will host. Saxophonist, composer and educator Tia Fuller will deliver the world premiere of “Intersections,” commissioned through the Clef Club’s Soundscapes for Tomorrow initiative. Fuller’s work blends R&B, classical, funk and hip-hop with jazz. Artistic Excellence Awards will go to Papo Vázquez, Miguel Zenón, Derrick Hodge and Nabaté Isles.
