Recently DFA'd Red Sox pitcher recalled by new team after 1 Triple-A appearance

Jack Anderson is set to return to a major league roster after being recalled by the Minnesota Twins following a single Triple-A appearance. Ari Alexander of 7 News reported Monday night that the Twins will bring Anderson back to the majors, with a start scheduled for Tuesday against the Cleveland Guardians. Anderson was designated for assignment by the Boston Red Sox before being claimed off waivers by Minnesota. In one outing for Triple-A St. Paul, he threw three scoreless innings. Anderson debuted in MLB on April 14 for Boston against the Twins, posting a 3.38 ERA across three major-league outings. At Triple-A Worcester, the 26-year-old made 16 appearances (11 starts), going 2-4 with a 4.81 ERA and a 1.38 WHIP, allowing 31 runs and striking out 51. Boston made the DFA move to clear a spot on the 40-man roster as Patrick Sandoval returned from the injured list.
