South Cave petrolhead gearing up for rallycross championship showdown

Paul Woodford, a rallying YouTube figure and club-coverage presenter from South Cave, will compete this weekend in the final round of the MDA Rallycross Championship at Knockhill circuit in Scotland. Driving a specially prepared Peugeot 205 GTI, the 11th-placed competitor in the points table says “all to play for” as he looks for a clean run after a difficult start. He previously tried rallycross through two earlier rounds in the newly created series, including an incident where a clash resulted in one of his doors being torn off. Woodford also mentions rolling in another motorsport event earlier this year and aims to “end the year on a high.”
