Sports: Five Ugandan drivers set for ARC Rwanda Mountain Gorilla Rally: Uganda’s Suzan “Super Lady” Muwonge returns to international competition this month for the Rwanda Mountain Gorilla Rally, the third round of the Africa Rally Championship (ARC). The event will bring five Ugandan drivers, including Oscar Ntambi, Dr. Godfrey Nsereko, Godfrey Aine Sodo and defending champion Yasin Nasser, according to the entry list released by clerk of the course Eric Gakwaya. Muwonge, a two-time National Rally Champion and the only female national rally champion on the African continent, comes back after a sabbatical taken in 2019. She returns guided by co-driver Musa Nsubuga in a Subaru Impreza B12. The crew’s stated aim is to enjoy the rally, complete the competition, and return the car in good condition. Opposition is expected from Kenyan entries led by Karan Patel and Nikhil Sanchana, plus Tanzanian driver Ahmed Huwel. In total, 19 crews from East African countries have registered.
