The Longhorns capitalized on Ohio State’s late wobble, finishing with Hollywood Smothers’ 1-yard touchdown run with 25 seconds left. Sportradar said Texas’ 20-point fourth-quarter rally is the largest of its kind to beat an AP No. 1 team. Ohio State led 23-3 after three quarters, but Texas (2-0) rallied following Manning’s fourth-quarter TD pass to Ryan Wingo. Connor Hawkins missed a 45-yard field goal that set up the winning drive.
