Trump, who owned the Miss Universe pageant, touts how handsome GOP candidates are, even praising parts of their body. 'Look at this beautiful guy' | Fortune

President Donald Trump used a Saturday campaign rally in Kentucky to frame Republican candidates as “easy on the eyes,” praising specific nominees’ looks while seeking momentum in the midterm election. He called U.S. House candidate Ed Gallrein a “beautiful guy” and added “Central casting” while the former U.S. Navy SEAL stood nearby. Trump also lauded Sen. Jon Husted as “a perfect person,” joking, “I examined his ass,” before describing his shoulders, feet, hand, and jawline. The article says he has made similar comments before, including targeting Texas Sen. candidate Ken Paxton’s appearance unfavorably, contrasting it with his conservative record. Democrats have also been subject to Trump’s visual comparisons.
