Viking Names Top Global Travel Advisor Michael Consoli Godfather of New Viking Sekhmet

Michael Consoli, owner of Cruise Planners - Michael Consoli & Associates, was selected by Viking to serve as godfather of the new river ship Viking Sekhmet, one of seven vessels Viking is launching this year. The ship is scheduled to sail in November on the luxury line’s Egyptian-focused itinerary on the Nile. Consoli, based in Atlanta, joined the naming ceremony in Amsterdam on Oct. 15, where Viking named him godfather. Viking says Consoli has been its No. 1 global-producing travel advisor for 10 straight years and has a relationship with the cruise line dating to 2010. The Viking Sekhmet is an 82-guest ship with 41 Scandinavian-designed staterooms and an indoor-outdoor Aquavit Terrace.
