Why is Koninklijke Philips stock rallying today? By Investing.com
Koninklijke Philips shares surged 5.6% to €25.90 after the Dutch health technology company released third-quarter 2026 results before the Amsterdam market opened. The report showed an adjusted earnings beat and company management reaffirmed full-year guidance. Philips cited year-on-year comparable order intake growth of 8% and comparable sales growth of 3%, with group sales around €4.4 billion for the quarter. Adjusted EBITA margin rose 70 basis points to 13.0%, and free cash flow increased to €384 million. Net income fell to €28 million from €187 million a year earlier due to a €288 million provision tied to a U.S. Department of Justice framework agreement regarding the Respironics recall. Investors appeared to treat that as known, while shares moved above the 200-day average toward the upper end of the 52-week range.
