Are Institutions Shifting Capital From Bitcoin (BTC) to Ethereum (ETH)?

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $462.7 million in net outflows over the past week, ending a three-week streak of positive flows, while spot Ethereum ETFs pulled in $196.9 million. The week’s tone continued through four straight trading days, Tuesday to Friday, with Thursday the heaviest at $282.7 million leaving Bitcoin funds—the largest daily withdrawal since July. ARK 21Shares led with $234.2 million outflows, followed by Grayscale’s Bitcoin Trust at $129.1 million. In contrast, BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust added $148.8 million on Friday. Meanwhile, the ETH/BTC ratio rose more than 25% in Q3.
