Bitcoin ETFs see $210M outflow as Ethereum ETFs extend winning streak to ten days
xCruzo Brief
Bitcoin ETFs saw a sudden reversal after a strong run: after nine straight days of inflows totaling more than $3 billion, U.S. spot Bitcoin funds recorded an estimated net outflow of about $201.9 million in a single session on August 28. That was roughly equivalent to 2,689 BTC leaving the fund wrappers, and it marked the first daily outflow since mid-August, when Bitcoin traded in a $77,696 to $78,000 range. Outflows were concentrated, with ARK 21Shares losing around $114.9 million, Bitwise about $49.7 million, and BlackRock’s Bitcoin fund approximately $33.4 million. Ethereum ETFs moved the opposite direction, pulling in about $102.1 million the same day and extending inflows to ten days, near $12.9 billion cumulatively.
