Bitcoin Price Above $66,000, Weekly Chart Still Says Wait Bitcoin News ETHNews
Bitcoin’s price push above $66,000 marks a key trigger level for analysts, with the next technical test at $66,700, according to Alphractal founder Joao Wedson. The move was confirmed during Tuesday’s session after BTC cleared $66,000, while it last traded near $66,542, up from a weekly low of $63,100. Wedson’s Structural Market Bands midline is meant to act as a reaction zone rather than a standard round number or simple moving average. However, the weekly chart has not fully confirmed the breakout: price remains below a 20-week SMA/21-week EMA band near $69,930–$70,570, which currently acts as resistance. Momentum looks bullish on intraday charts, though RSI near 74 suggests the rally may pause. A weekly close above roughly $70,570 would strengthen the signal.
