Bitcoin Rejected at $67K, Strategy Stays on Hold, BitMEX Shuts Down: Weekly Crypto Recap
Bitcoin was rejected around the $67,000 level and pulled back during the week’s trading, according to a crypto market recap. After falling to $62,500 as the prior week ended, BTC recovered to about $64,000 over the weekend, then peaked near $65,000 before slipping to $63,750 after failing to break resistance. The rally extended to $67,000 on some exchanges for the first time since mid-June, driven by renewed ETF net inflows and additional accumulation by certain large investors. However, the move reversed quickly, with drops to $66,000 on Wednesday, $65,000 on Thursday, and around $64,000 earlier in the day. The broader market showed mixed performance, with Ethereum around $1,855 and TRX near $0.33, while XMR gained roughly 9%. BTC dominance fell below 56%.
