Bitcoin's $84,000 wall gets harder to break as ETF inflows sink to $31 million | Market featured
Bitcoin spot ETF inflows slowed sharply on Sept. 28, drawing just $31 million as institutional demand weakened while BTC struggled below a major supply barrier. SoSoValue data show BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led with $54.84 million in inflows, taking its holdings back above 800,000 BTC for the first time since May 26. Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust added $10.32 million, while Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund saw $10.90 million in outflows and Grayscale’s GBTC lost $23.19 million. Though the $31.07 million intake extended the positive streak to eight sessions, it was the weakest day of the run. Inflows have fallen about 97% from early-September peaks near $1 billion daily, while Glassnode says long-term-holder supply is most concentrated between $84,000 and $85,000, increasing potential selling pressure.
