Brighton set to intensify pursuit of Millwall winger Femi Azeez
xCruzo Brief
Brighton & Hove Albion are preparing to increase their pursuit of Millwall winger Femi Azeez before the transfer window shuts at 11pm BST on Tuesday. The 25-year-old right-sided attacker has attracted two formal bids from Brighton so far, with the latest a package just north of £10 million. Millwall believe that figure is well below what they want, but Brighton remain hopeful of agreeing a deal in time. Azeez joined Millwall from Reading in August 2024 for around £1 million and has 24 months left on his contract. A Nigeria international, he wants an Amex Stadium move and has been Brighton’s preference over other interest. He was named in the PFA Championship Team of the Season for 2025-26 after scoring 11 goals and providing seven assists.
