Busan's Asian Contents & Film Market Names Japan 2026 Focus Country for Producer Hub

The Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM), linked to the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), has named Japan the 2026 Focus Country for its Producer Hub. Japan will send 10 producers to Busan in October for project pitching, speed meetings and case-study sessions. Now in its third year, the Producer Hub is designed to help producers pursue international co-productions by sharing information on financing, investment and local support schemes. ACFM previously selected Korea in 2024 and Canada in 2025, and 2026 follows a Canada-Korea audiovisual co-production treaty signed in 2026. Producer Hub 2026 runs Oct. 10 to 13, with an extra day for expanded networking.
