ETH Plunged 16% in October as Ethereum ETF Outflows Hit All-Time High
xCruzo Brief
Ethereum fell more than 16% in October, ending the month down 16.06% even after a brief early rebound. The largest driver was record outflows from Ethereum ETFs: investors withdrew over $1.6 billion, the highest monthly net outflow since the funds launched. After a strong run through July, August, and September—ending September up 8.79%—ETH briefly neared $2,800 in early October but was rejected, sliding toward $2,400 and later $2,300 after September inflation data (CPI and PPI) was released. A push to $2,520 failed, and after the Oct. 30 Binance hack ETH dropped to a two-month low of $2,150.
