Etsy sellers say their previously thriving shops can't rebound from Trump's tariffs

She says global tariffs on Chinese goods, enacted by President Trump in February 2025, gutted momentum for her business. Custom needle‑minders and other small items, once favored, faced higher costs as the equipment to produce them in China is restricted in the U.S. because it resembles currency‑printing machinery. Although some tariffs were struck down by the Supreme Court, Trump added new levies, leaving a murky market for makers who rely on overseas manufacturing. Relocating production domestically with profitability remains nearly impossible for many sellers.
