Feds bust El Paso stash house. Man pulls out gun at West Side bar
Federal authorities busted a stash house in El Paso, arresting a dozen undocumented migrants. U.S. Border Patrol and Homeland Security Investigations said 11 adults and one child were detained at the stash house. The operation underscores ongoing enforcement in Northwest El Paso near Roma Bar at 7470 Cimarron Market Ave. Separately, an off-duty sheriff’s deputy interrupted a theft at a Circle K on the East Side around 3 a.m. Saturday, June 13, arresting a 17-year-old, Jose Angel Rosales, after he allegedly resisted and attempted to grab the deputy’s gun. Stolen items, including BuzzBallz and margarita wine coolers worth about $71, were recovered, and the teen was released after posting bonds. A judge later ordered no driving for a teen accused of recklessness at a park.
