Indonesia launched MASA Marketplace showcase in Takashimaya to promote creative economy in Singapore
Indonesia launched the MASA Marketplace showcase at Takashimaya Department Store in Singapore to highlight its creative economy and expand economic, cultural, and trade collaboration. The Indonesian Embassy in Singapore inaugurated the event on July 2, 2026, under the theme “MASA: A Glimpse of Indonesia’s Golden Era,” presenting Indonesian products, innovation, and cultural creativity to local and international audiences. The opening ceremony included remarks from MASA Executive Director Heliandi (Ando) Fajar Saputra, followed by comments from an Astra representative acknowledging private-sector support. Indonesian Ambassador HE Hotmangaradja Pandjaitan delivered the official speech, emphasizing cultural diplomacy and the role of creative industries in strengthening relations. Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar spoke on behalf of the government, noting support for firms to access international markets. The program ended with a networking session involving officials, businesses, and visitors.
