Jaguars Mailbag: Anton Harrison, Trade Deadline Takes and the Texans Challenge

In Jacksonville, the Jaguars’ near-term focus is Week 6 against the Houston Texans, with trade-deadline planning and injury questions central to the discussion. In a mailbag, the spotlight fell on Anton Harrison’s injury and how it could affect Jacksonville’s willingness to make moves. The team has depth at left tackle with Walker Little, and the writers suggest the Jaguars may prefer to evaluate Little as a starter rather than buy at the deadline—especially since they’re playing well on both sides of the ball. Defensive line help is flagged as the most logical target, while wide receiver Travis Hunter is viewed as more important at cornerback given secondary health concerns. The segment also notes injuries impacting Montaric Brown and Cole Van Lanen, and discusses Jacksonville’s offensive balance, penalties, and red-zone execution.
