Japan stocks higher at close of trade as the Nikkei 225 ends up 0.75% following gains across key sectors. After the close in Tokyo on Tuesday, the index rose to reflect strength in Real Estate, Banking, and Textile shares. Shiseido Co., Ltd. led the Nikkei with a 5.11% gain to 2,943.00, while Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha added 4.73% to 2,657.00 and Tokuyama Corp. rose 4.17% to 4,695.00. On the downside, Yaskawa Electric fell 8.98% to 5,436.00, Panasonic declined 5.57% to 4,173.00, and Toppan Printing dropped 4.64% to 4,909.00. Broad market breadth showed more advancers than decliners on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The Nikkei Volatility index eased 2.36% to 37.23. In commodities and FX, August crude was up to $80.18, Brent to $85.39, and USD/JPY edged down to 162.35.
