New Quantum-Proof Digital Signature Survives Simulated Quantum Attacks
A team from Griffith International College and Henan University of Technology in Zhengzhou, China, has introduced FSDS-OTS+, a quantum-resistant digital signature scheme aimed at surviving quantum attacks while staying small and fast for blockchains, IoT and decentralized finance. Published in Cluster Computing, the design builds on an earlier FSDS-OTS approach but adds formal security proofs, reduction robustness and empirical validation within the Quantum Random Oracle Model (QROM). The scheme targets post-quantum security based on the computational difficulty of two lattice problems: Learning With Errors (LWE) and Short Integer Solution (SIS). Its authors report EUF-CMA security against quantum attackers and incorporate AI-enhanced public key compression, zero-knowledge verifiability and homomorphic consistency checks.
