Mohanlal's 'Drishyam 3' enters Rs 100-crore club in India on Day despite dip in earnings

Mohanlal starrer Drishyam 3, directed by Jeethu Joseph, has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in India and surpassed Rs 200 crore globally by Day 9. In India, Day 9 nett collections stood at Rs 4.30 crore, down about 35 percent from Day 8’s Rs 6.65 crore, with Kerala showing strong performance as the Malayalam version remains the primary driver. The film released on 9th Day across 1,826 shows with a 42 percent occupancy; Telugu, Tamil and Kannada versions contributed smaller sums. India gross reached Rs 100.08 crore, nett Rs 86.25 crore, while overseas collections added Rs 6 crore, taking the worldwide total to Rs 209.08 crore. It ranks as the second highest grossing Malayalam film of 2026, behind Vaazha II: Biopic of a Billion Bros at Rs 235.26 crore worldwide.

In the same period, Lakshya and Ananya Panday’s Chand Mera Dil began its second week with about Rs 1.3 crore nett, after a first week of Rs 17.35 crore nett; domestic total now stands at Rs 20.75 crore nett, with overseas adding Rs 3.05 crore nett for a worldwide total of Rs 27.55 crore.
